It adopts the BOT+EPC project management mode and has a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour and two lanes. The project starts from Hechuan Shaxi Interchange and connects three districts of Hechuan, Beibei and Yubei in Chongqing. It stops near Jianshui Bay in the Changchun Expressway and connects with the expressway of Nanchuan to Liangjiang New District and the Longchang Expressway. The project has 12 interchanges, 16890.5m/44 bridges, 18411.1m/10 tunnels, and 46.4% bridges and tunnels.
